Parent Brand Preview

After months of careful thought, planning and collaboration, we are thrilled to share our progress on the new parent brand. Pinchot, a university for the common good, represents the shared vision of OSR and BGI, and speaks to our heritage. Bringing all the “sister brands” together is no small task, and we’d like to celebrate this evolution with a short introduction to, and preview of, Pinchot. This signals the start of many great years to come. We look forward to sharing them with all of you!

Who we are

We are a university committed to the common good, for people who want to transform organizations, communities,  markets, or themselves in ways that are practical, positive, sustainable and profitable. In a collaborative and transformative learning environment, we give students entrepreneurial skills, strategic rigor, disruptive business acumen, leadership and life-changing personal development to respond to the rapidly changing world.

Our heritage

The Pinchot name has been synonymous with leadership, innovative strategies and work for the common good for generations, and it will continue to be long into the future. We offer education that transforms organizations, communities and markets that adapt and prosper in an ever-changing world.

Personality

Pinchot, its programs, and its students can all be defined by their uncanny ability to create real change, both personally and in the business world. We think the following words and phrases best capture our unique personality.

Logo

The logo for Pinchot serves as a beacon to those interested in improving the world, and themselves. It is a continually growing circle, always open to new ideas, people and opportunities. Pinchot, BGI and OSR are all given unique identities through the use of color, but are united under a common overall style. Just as each of our programs has a different approach to contributing to the common good, the end result is the unifying characteristic.

Photos

Pinchot’s identity, values and stories are all genuine. Shouldn’t our photography be too? All our photos will be of actual BGI and OSR students and alumni. We stand behind our institution, never use stock images, and work to be as transparent as possible.

Brand Applications

Marketing the Pinchot family will be strong and clean, showcasing people, data and ideas without distractions. We’ll be bold, sharing the profiles of our community. Instead of just talking about our differences, we’ll demonstrate our impact by showcasing BGI and OSR alumni, faculty, students and others in our community as we contribute to the common good.

Diplomas

Today we’re celebrating a milestone in the Countdown to Commencement. The diplomas for BGI and OSR are that culmination of all that we are as a family. The modern style of these draft diplomas emphasize the respective BGI or OSR community while connecting to Pinchot as the degree granting organization.
